We know our readers are always on the lookout for new products, so we’re always hitting up our Celebrity Stylemakers for the latest inside news on the next best thing in beauty. Recently, we asked We Love Beauty contributor Molly Stern to let us in on what’s on the launch pad over at CoverGirl, and she was kind enough to give us the goods…

New Exact Eyelights Eye-Brightening Mascara: “I love this new product launch,” Molly told us. Here’s why: it’s an ultra-defining mascara that brings out your truest eye color. In fact, you choose your shade based on your eye color, and it promises to make your eyes look four times brighter.

Outlast LipStain: This is another of Molly’s favorites because of its great felt-tip applicator. Of course, as anyone who’s ever used a lip-stain before knows, a pre-exfoliation for the lips is a must before you glide it on!

I've been using the Eyelights mascara in Black Gold (hazel eyes) for a few weeks now and I'm not smitten over it. It is packed with shimmery gold flecks in this mascara but it doesn't really make my eye color stand out :( I turn to this mascara on my "off-day / no make-up look day". As for the Outlast Lip Stains......I'm in LOVE! Finally an affordable lip stain! Eversince I've heard of these, I was dying to try them and must have searched every CVS and Walgreens in the Chicagoland area (finally found them at Jewel-Osco a week ago!)I currently own Sassy Mauve and I plan to head back and pick up atleast three more shades. These lipstains are awesome - they last me 6+ hours, the colors are fab and you can create endless color combo's with your fave gloss. I'm hooked!

bloggers are going crazy for the outlast things [for anyone reading, they're available at CVS right now!]. they aren't terribly innovative because the felt tip applicator for a stain has been done before, but it is convenient, and affordable too.

sadly I haven't heard too many great reviews for eyelights which surprised me. people say that it really isn't pigmented enough to notice a brightness in their eyes, but I'm sure if they layered it over a black mascara it would help a lot. :)
