Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Get the Look: Christina Ricci at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Christina Ricci's classic glam look was definitely was one of our faves at the Met Costume Institute Gala last week, and as you know she was also one of our gals for Look of the Week for this look as well. We have to give major props to Christina's fabulous makeup artist for the evening: Vanessa Scali (fyi, Scali is America Ferrera's go-to makeup artist - she has created some of Ferrera's best beauty looks). We loved Christina's clean glowing skin, luscious lashes and rosy pout. And we have to say, that we were totally digging Ricci's sheer red and coral Givenchy gown, which brought a little bit of superhero-ness to the ensemble. Plus, our buddy celebrity hair stylist and expert, Adir Abergel was the man behind Ms. Ricci's sleek pony...READ MORE: Get the Look: Christina Ricci at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Naomi Watts looked absolutely radiant at the Costume Institute Gala, "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy," held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this week. And the one-and-only Mr. Paul Starr was the man responsible for Watt's stunning beauty. Naomi wore a fabulous 1930s inspired white Thierry Mugler gown to the gala, so Paul only thought it appropriate to give Naomi's makeup a 1930s spin. Using the classic novel and film The Fountainhead as inspiration, Paul focused on classic liner, arched brows and a red pout.

Mr. Starr was also excited to use the new Thierry Mugler luxury cosmetic collection, called "The Art of the Metamorphosis." With the theme of the evening revolving around superheroes and fantasy, it only seems appropriate to be using Mugler cosmetics, which look completely otherworldly...READ MORE: Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala
