I know I say the same thing after every awards show...but I think I am officially declaring...HOLLYWOOD IS IN A BEAUTY RUT! Honestly, I'm tired of writing the same thing week after week, month after month: "Ohh Nude Lips"..."Wow, Mermaid Waves"..."Oooh Lashes"..."Genius...Cat Eyeliner...Who knew???"
Sure, there were some pretty looks last night, but I tend to find music show looks to lack a little...umm...refinement. "Heavy-handed Pretty" seemed to be the trend of the night. With that being said, there were plenty of frightful things happening on the red carpet, too....Christina Applegate, you are now the 3,457th celebrity to copy that Posh bob...Avril, that pink stripe in your hair is exhausting...Ashanti, please NEVER allow your makeup artist to underline your eyes with yellow eyeliner! Eek.
